Strangers in Time: Transgenerational Trauma and the Arts

Christopher Bailey, the Arts and Health Lead of the World Health Organization and co-Founding Director of the Jameel Arts and Health Lab, has created a performance piece that explores real life experiences of transgenerational trauma as well as the science of how the brain and body react to trauma, and the power of the arts to transform these intergenerational experiences into authentic personal meaning, freeing us from the past and yet at the same time honoring it.
