This event was presented in collaboration with the NYC Health + Hospitals Arts in Medicine department. The workshop collaborated with a museum educator, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and hospital participants to create a safe and contemplative environment to reflect on their experiences through artwork-led discussions, artmaking, and reflective writing. Art observation embedded in medical curricula has proven benefits that explores shared experience, deepens empathy and contributes to greater team cohesion.
